Ongoing needs
There are several ongoing ways in which you can contribute anytime:
- Add recipes to our Tools wiki.
- Found a bug ? Check the open tickets to see if it has been reported already. If not, add a new ticket describing the bug.
- Feel comfortable writing automated tests? Please help us out by extending our test suite! (See our coding standard).
- Get CherryPy noticed by blogging about it! There's even a CherryPy Planet for regular CherryPy bloggers.
How to contact us
We'd love to hear your feature requests, or just how you've used CherryPy for creating web applications!
- Come to our IRC channel and talk to us directly.
- CherryPy has 5 mailing lists hosted by Google Groups. Please search there and on this wiki before asking a question, as many questions may have already been answered.
Users mailing lists
- cherrypy-users is the general list for all questions regarding the use of CherryPy.
- cherrypy-announce is a low-traffic list where all new releases and major events are announced.
Developers mailing lists
- cherrypy-devel is the list dedicated to the development (new features, bug fixes, design choices, ...) of CherryPy itself
- cherrypy-tickets is a list where all the ticket changes are being posted. Read-only.
- cherrypy-docs is a list where the documentation project is being discussed.
